Design Challenge Statement

“How might we create a seamless and intuitive livestreaming experience for both novice and power users, ensuring minimal setup friction, real-time feedback, and consistent UI behavior across devices—while integrating with our design system for scalability and maintainability?”

Channel Setup

1. Channel details
Settings and metadata for a livestream channel—like title, description, category, language, and privacy level—that help users understand and organize content.

2. White-labeling
Customizing the app’s branding (logos, colors, fonts) to match a client’s identity, so the platform appears as their own product.

3. Theme picker
A UI feature that lets users choose between predefined visual themes (e.g., light/dark mode or branded styles) to personalize the look and feel of the app.

Live Stream Studio

1. Event Management

Plan and configure live streaming events with precision.
Users can create, schedule, and set up all technical and visual details of an event—selecting inputs, stream destinations, metadata, and live branding assets through a centralized interface.

2. Event Monitoring

Track live event performance in real time.
The monitoring dashboard provides a live overview of input sources, stream health, bitrate, audio levels, and output status, helping users quickly identify and troubleshoot issues during broadcast.

3. Event Sharing

Distribute and embed live streams with ease.
Once live, events can be shared via automatically generated embed codes, direct links, or connected platforms—ensuring easy access and wide distribution to the intended audience.
